About FileMaker U

FileMaker U is Western Canada's premier classroom-based training center dedicated to FileMaker Pro. We fill the crucial gap between 'do it yourself' and 'hire a consultant', enabling clients to develop effective and customized business solutions.

We're here to help you:

  • Identify areas where a database will streamline or improve you internal data management
  • give you the knowledge to create and manage your own access database environment
  • create manage and utilize useful reports and reporting strategies

    FileMaker U's instructors have more than twenty years experience in developing and customizing data solutions for clients in business, education and multimedia environments. Most importantly, our instructors are skilled in training and empowering others to understand and utilize FileMaker in developing tools and applications integral to business success and unique to each workplace.

    Our training and instructors are proficient in both a Mac and PC environment where many of our students work daily.

    FileMaker U classroom is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, easily accessible by public transit. Within a bright, spacious and inspiring environment, an individual workstation is provided for each student. Class sizes are limited to 10 in order to maximize the learning objectives and promote knowledge sharing among students.

    Initial course offerings will provide students with more than just FileMaker basics--they will finish their training empowered to not only better manage data, but to design and implement business solutions for their workplace.
